Tara over at 4th Grade Frolics is hosting her FIRST EVER Monday made it linky party and I was So super excited to join! As my husband and I went grocery shopping last night I had to pick up cat food. We always pick up 6 containers of wet food each month. Here are the empty boxes!
I have never put any thought into keeping these boxes...until now! My mind was racing last night trying to think of what to use these for! HAHA! I have a billizion task cards from ProTeacher and they are just all over my classroom in no specific order! So...light bulb please! These can be used to house my task cards!
As soon as I woke up I just had to go to The Dollar Tree and Michaels! I found some frames that I am using to make my kids end of the year gifts and then bought scrap paper for these boxes.
With a little bit of hot glue, scrap paper, cute label buttons from Graphics from the Pond and...presto!
So what do you think??? I am redoing my WHOLE math area this summer and wanted a place for specific things!
Also, I have made my end of the year gifts for the kids! It's not much, but I really think they will like it! I went to the Dollar Tree today and got 21 clear 4x6 photo frames like this:
Then, I created a word cloud on each student, used my snip it tool to create a photo from the word cloud...like this one:
Next, I used PowerPoint and super cute backgrounds from Graphics from the Pond to create the picture to put in the frame!
Here is my FINAL product!
I just LOVE LOVE LOVE how they turned out! I hope they like them!
As soon as school is out on Thursday, I can get busy with it! Here is to a fantastic week!
Wow!!! Those boxes turned out sooooo cute!!! Way to upcycle:)) The end of the year gifts are amazing!!! I'll have to do something like that next year;)))) Thanks for linking up:))) My project for next week has something to do with letters too!!!

Love the task card boxes! Is that scrapbooking paper or did you do that digitally? I'm "doing my math area over" this summer, too.

I love your boxes, but I REALLY love the frames for your kids!! OMG! They are so cute!! Maybe I'll make one for my husband for Father's Day. Or my daughter for graduation. Or my best friend just because. Thinking, thinking,....

The boxes were super easy...but you can for sure tell they were my first ones...a little bubbling here and there! haha! Also, I didn't put paper in the inside..do you think I should? and yes, it is scrapbook paper:)
ReplyDeleteI am giving the frames to the kids tomorrow...I hope they like them!
These both look awesome. I LOVE how you created those pictures and frames for your kiddos. They are great.
