Catching up....yea for a 3 day weekend!

What.a.week! Seriously! I am so thankful for a 3 day weekend! Are you??? I needed it to catch up and get myself focused on a few things in my life:) I always plan day by day the first week of school because you never know what you are going to get to or not going to get to! Now, I can plan for longer and do the other things I need to after school instead of worrying about making plans!

So my first night of the 3-day weekend...last night...was consumed by making these lovely signs for my friend! It was her daughter's first birthday and she was having a Pinkalicious Party!

I honestly can't get enough of this little girl! She is A-DORABLE!

She wanted signs for all over the pink food we were having! They turned out great! Here are just a few of the many I made!

Day 2...Today!

I was at the party today which was so much fun! I have baby fever BAD:) Hopefully soon it will be my turn! But I will let you in on a secret..I am terrified of being pregnant! I hope I can get over that fear soon!

I went and did our grocery shopping today and spend way.too.much.money! But I was pleasantly surprised that I got a front row spot at Walmart at 5pm and there were NO lines! I mean, seriously...that NEVER happens!

Since my hubby is working tonight...dang you 3rd shift...my plans are to do a little of...

I rented this from RedBox. I have seen all of them. It brings back hometown memories for me since it is based off my home town of Grand Rapids Michigan! My hubby won't watch it with me so it is a perfect time for me to watch it:)

Snuggle with George:)

This is my dinner:) This is my last weekend of eating junk before taking control of my life! I hope it is good. I wasn't in the mood for chocolate at the time and bought this instead. Now...I kinda want chocolate...dang it!

Get these bad boys baked for my Starbucks Boyfriend! Two days in a row I got free drinks. I know he loves these so I am baking them for him!

Trying a new breakfast recipe out from He and She Eat Clean! I am going to start doing this and pretty excited about it. You should check out their website...such great ideas and recipes!

And...I plan catching up with some blogs! I hope I can fit it all in tonight! It's already 9pm! I hope you all have a great night! Don't forget about my MEGA 500 follower giveaway! You can get to it HERE!

  2. I want a Starbucks boyfriend!! I suppose we need to get a Starbucks, first. Little old Asheboro isn't big enough. Phooey! At one point, I would have been really jealous that you don't make lesson plans. During my student teaching, my cooperating teacher and I were two peas in a pod, so neither of us made lesson plans. Of course, if I were being observed, I had to make them. It worked. But now, my team divvies up subjects and we take turn planning, so it's kind of nice to just look at the plan to know what I'm supposed to do. :)

Have a great Labor Day!! P.S. Those signs are adorable!
