I'm Ready to Plan~take a look at this!

Hey fellow friends! I hope you all are enjoying your summer!

My summer is coming to an end:(

I go back the 28th of this month and just got official word I can start moving my stuff in Monday...MONDAY! Of course I want to get right in there and set up but I am dreading bringing all my stuff back to the classroom! This year I had to take it all home as my school was being remodeled! I can't wait to take a look how clean and fresh my room will be!

One thing I don't have to think any more about is my teacher planner! Last year I got an oh-so expensive planner, which I did like...but I never used all of it. I felt it wasn't worth the money. 

So I started to look around on TpT to find one that fit me. I wasn't having any luck and even thought about making my own. I kept looking and finally found this one from Haley over at My Silly Firsties.

I used some of this for my lesson plan book. I will use the other printables for other binders I plan on making. I really wanted my lesson plan binder to be just that! With a few other things of course!

The first page is for a peek at the week and my guided reading plans. I plan on using that as an outline as a plan for the week!

When you turn the page, this is where you see my lesson plans!

I love having it set up this way for the each week. 

At the very end of my book, I have my common core standards for the grade I am teaching.

I can't wait to use it!

Classroom day 3 with another Freebie!

So I have to say, no one guessed my favorite thing to do at the gym! I am shocked! A part of me wants you all to keep guessing so I can give away all my Monday made it stuff. So one more day, if no one guesses it before I get back on the internet tomorrow afternoon, I will just reveal it and no one will win:( Go back to the original post this past monday here and check out the guesses. Make sure you make a new guess!You can make it on either post, this one or the original one.

I hope you liked the mix, pair, share freebie yesterday! Today, for one day only, I will have another freebie! It is a time capsule activity students can do at the beginning of the year. Have each student fill out the sheets and then tuck them away somewhere until the last week of school. Have then complete the time capsule again and then give them back the first one! They should have fun comparing the two.

Today I got to school a little later that I wanted to...I slept in! oops! But that's OK! I am really eager to get my room all done...and I am SO CLOSE! Tomorrow I should be DONE! 

This is when you first walk in

 My new curtains:) Well, fabric I hot glued over to place the spring rod though! I have been wanting to do this for years!

 My reading is sweet board:) I have to add all the pendants and also a sign on how to earn beads

 My center board. I do a modified Daily 5

Book bins with all new fresh labels:)

 My new containers for crayons, colored pencils, and markers. No more digging for colors:)

 This is sooooo blurry...I am sorry! But, it is my writing topics board! With my writing topics cards I created! 

 My almost finished math area. the boards are still blank but I am working on what is going to go there. I have a math calendar, focus wall, centers, common core vocabulary. I am really liking how this math area is turning out!

 So I moved the rule posters over. Now I have a blank spot in the middle. Thinking about having something say, "Our Classroom Rules". I am not sure yet.

This is a horrible picture...so sorry! I added my scheduler on my entry way wall. Behind that class is my office:)

Things I still have to do...

I need to go through my books, center binders, writing binders, make math binders, go though my closets and office! Ok, maybe I won't be done tomorrow:( But the majority of my class is done! 

So what do you think? I don't go back until August 20th, but wanted to have my room done now so I can spend some time with my hubby!

Thistlegirl Graphics...YES!

I did it...I finally did it:) I bought Thistlegirl Graphics with the resellers license today! I have been wanting to for a very.long.time! I have a million ideas for what I want to make with them! I have always adored her graphics and can't wait to start using them...oh wait, I already did...oops!

Here is something super quick I made! I thought I would share in honor of me finally making the purchase! I have them for sale in my TPT and TN store.

 

What else have I been doing on this beautiful day??? Well, I did some laundry! All the blankets are clean, folded and put away until fall:) I also made some very tasty cookies I found on Pinterest:) Don't these look yummy???

Peanut butter, recess pieces, chocolate chips, and vanilla pudding??? YES please!

So here is the dough being all mixed! I couldn't help but try it...the dough was de-lish!

Ready to be put in the oven! Sorry the pic is sooooo blurry!

And now all ready to eat! There is more in the oven! I just wish my hubby could help me eat them:( 

Looks like I am going to bring some to our neighborhood managers!

These are SO good! If you want the recipe, click on the pinned picture above! I also didn't add the banana chips they suggested! I also learned to flatten out the dough before putting it on the pan! Makes for a more rounded cookie than a ball!

My plans for the night...keep working on my Monday Make it and some other great ideas I have! Like this one I have started:)
