2nd post for the day but I just HAD to share:)

I know, I know...2 posts in one day is not a good thing! But...I am feeling like a rebel today!:)

I just had to show you my finished wedding memory shadow box!
The glare is HORRIBLE...so sorry! But it was the best picture I could come up with! Do you see the cream fabric on the left hand side??? That is part of my wedding dress...ahh love! I had a million inches ton cut off because I am SOOO short! So that means I have a ton of left over fabric! Once my hubby and I plan on having kids I will make a blanket out of it:) The bracelet my mom gave me! I think it adds to the box!

So what do you think?

On a side note...my give-a-way ends tomorrow! So don't forget to sign up!

I am going to end by showing you an adorable picture I just took of my cat George who is right next to me as I am typing this...what a life!

I Saw It On Pinterest Linky Party and my Teacher Toolbox:)

No more school=more time on Pinterest for me:) And what better way to start by joining Amber from Adventures of a Third Grade teacher's fun I Saw It On Pinterest Linky Party!

So where in the world do I start???

I have just discovered pistachio flavored stuff! I so want to make these cupcakes:)

These are honestly the BEST chocolate chip cookies I have EVER made! Trust me when I say you won't be disappointed! I used mini chips instead of the bigger ones! Yummy!

I am going to rearrange our walk in food pantry! It is a MESS...no joke. I complain about it every time I open the door and can't.walk.in-seriously! I think my husband is sick of it and would appreciate me doing something about it! This is my plan!

I need a place to hang my necklaces! This looks like fun!

I hope you like these PINS! I am so excited to see what others have pinned! My mind is spinning already!

So...I also jumped on the teacher toolbox bandwagon! I love how it turned out...don't you???

You can grab my labels at my TPT and TN store today!

Thanks for stopping by!

Monday Made it!

Today was day 2 of my teacher workdays and all I wanted to do was come home so I could finish my craft for Tara's linky party over at 4th Grade Frolics. I Love Monday Made it's! What a great way to start my week!
So here is my craft for this week's Monday Made it! I was inspired by a pin I found on Pinterest! Amanda over at My Heart's Desire made this super cute mod podge canvas letter art and I just fell in love! I knew I just had to do something similar!

Also in Pinterest, I found these super cute classroom rules but the link on Pinterest was broken:( I was left to make it on my own!
So I created some of the same super cute classroom rules, plus a few of my own and put them on TPT and TN! If you want, go check them out:) But then...I got to thinking...I really wanted something different than what I did! I plugged my rules into Wordle...and....got this really cute word cloud:)
I took the letter canvas art and the word cloud and wanted to make a sign for my front door! I went to Michaels and bought two 12x12 canvases, ribbon, scrapbook paper, paint, flower decals,  and button decals.

I painted both canvases the color I wanted them! Blue and Pink:) Then, found a letter R on the computer that I liked (for my last name), printed it out, cut it out, and then traced it on the scrapbook paper I wanted to use. Used mod podge to seal the letter on one canvas and the scrapbook paper on the other. I super glued the word cloud, ribbon, flowers and buttons on and presto I was done!

I am so thrilled out they turned out!

Picture one-just the letter R

Picture 2-just the classroom rules
Picture 3-both together! I plan on hanging them on top of each other outside of my classroom door:)
Well...I am off to go read some more Monday Make it's!

Happy Monday to you all!

Just a little something and then some:)

Whew...what a day! During the school day, kids who needed to retake the EOG's had to retake it. This means, I was left to teach kids who passed or got a 1 and their parents didn't sign the form for them to retake it. It also meant that I got kids from another class since their teacher was administering the test. I had two super fun activities that revolved around two different picture books. Well, the kids FLEW through them both and even completed the part I had set aside for tomorrow! I had to get home from the gym tonight and think quickly of something again for this group to do tomorrow. I needed something that had more substance and could really keep them busy. So, I finally opened this FREE packet from Time for Kids I got in the mail weeks ago...oops! And I found a SUPER cool debate article! AH HA! Did you see the same light bulb that I just did??? LOL!

So low and behold my debate activity for tomorrow! Kids will have multiple opportunities to learn what a debate is, how to have one, and create their own speech to give a debate! For just a second, I kinda feel like an AIG teacher...this is so advanced for my group of kiddos!

So here is a preview of this activity! I hope you like it! If you want a copy, you can get it HERE!

I also plan on having them make this rockin activity! Found it on Pinterest! I thought it was so cool! If you want to know more about this rockin end of the year activity, you can go to The Learning Tree and get all the details!

Enjoy the rest of your week:)

A little bit of this, and a little bit of that...plus a freebie:)

Just an FYI...this post is going to be ALL over the place full of ideas from my busy Monday!

First thing, Happy Memorial Day! I am so honored to be married to a veteran! I am very proud of the service he has given to this country! And to my sister, who is 21 and just enlisted in the National Guard! Way to serve our country!

OK, onto my very busy productive Monday:) First, I finished my money tree for my friend's bridal shower! I reallllllly hope she likes it! So people are going to come to the shower and give a gift of money! They will choose an activity they would like to donate money to and then sign the tree to show they gave money! This way, people don't have to feel embarrassed if they can only give 5, 10 or 15 dollars!

So what do you think? Yeah, yeah, my husband pointed out the J and O are not straight. Oh well! AND I added one more leaf above the cream bird after I took this picture!

Second, I created this end of the year writing activity on the book Oh...the Places You'll Go by our good old friend Dr. Seuss! This was my FIRST try at drawing something and scanning it as a picture. I think the balloon turned out pretty good...don't you? hehe! You can get your copy over at my TPT and TN store now!

Lastly, to honor this holiday I created a Memorial Day writing activity! I know I have to go back to work tomorrow so it will be nice to see what the kids did over the weekend! I hope you can use it too! Pick up your copy for FREE at my TPT or TN store!

Well, that is it! I hope you all have a fantastic week back to work! 8 more days for me...I think I can, I think I can:)
