Classroom Day 2 and a freebie for you:)

As I was walking out the door I got THAT LOOK from my husband...you know, the look that says, "Why are you going to work?" Then asked me..." Why do you have to go in again? You went in yesterday! I thought you said since you are not switching rooms you would be able to have it all done yesterday!" Are you kidding me? Why does he have to ask me this every summer, every year?? It will never change unless I hire someone to unload my closest, move furniture , put up bulletin boards, label book bins and baskets, make copies,....I could go on and on! I just ignore him and go in! LOL! Do your husbands or boyfriends do this? One day, maybe he will get it...maybe!

So I went in today about 10am and left at 1:30. I was busy the whole time. I feel I left at a good stopping point! I have a few things to make and do tonight and I bet, I can be done tomorrow or Thursday! YEAH!

But before I show you my pictures I have two things to share:)

1. NO ONE has guessed my favorite thing to do at the gym! Keep thinking and leave me a new comment. Make sure you go back to my Monday Made it post and see what others guessed!

2. Here is a back to school mix, pair, share activity I always do!

I hope you like it:) It is free for my followers until tomorrow only! Thank you for being so great:) You can get it HERE!

OK, here are my pictures I hope you like them!

OK...the weather is about to get NASTY. I should probably head home instead if hanging out at Starbucks! Plus, I have dinner to make! See you all tomorrow!!!

  1. The link for the activity isn't working. :(
Love the photos and I'm jealous that you're able to go in and work ahead of time. They haven't even moved my mountain of stuff into my "new" classroom yet. *sigh*

  5. My husband is a teacher.... A high school teacher.... So he does NOT get it. He knows that every year it tales me a long time to get my room ready, and he know I have a lot of "stuff" to put together.but.... He still doesn't get it. There is just a big difference between elementary and high school.

  7. My husband doesn't get it either. My mom is a retired teacher and my dad completely got it. He was there every year helping her and knew what his list was to accomplish.

  10. Looks great! My husband, who didn't know me in life before being a teacher, doesn't get it either. He has helped me move rooms 2 years in a row and seen first hand all of the craziness that goes into getting ready, and still asks why I have to go in and work.

  11. I love the colors in your classroom! It is looking good! I hate that I don't have the freedom to come and go in my classroom as I please. Your blog is great! Don't see you that much on PT lately. I took the plunge and just started my blog this month. Hop on over for a visit.

  14. Your room is huge! Or at least bigger than mine! I am getting nervous about getting into my room, I'm not allowed to go in for another 3 weeks and school starts in 4 weeks! My husband justs ignores all of my creations and buys in the living room, dining room, garage, spare bedroom, basement,... luckily he doesn't know about the trunk!!

  17. Room looks awesome! Love your word wall!
Gym: I am at a toss up between 3 possible things- jumping rope, one of those balance balls, or one of those things you kneel on and swing back and forth on- I have one of those and can't think of the name of it, but don't know if they have them in a gym. but I am probably wrong on all my thoughts.

Hopefully someone guesses correctly so we can all say OH YEAH...

  20. Everything is looking good. I love the portable word wall. Such a great idea. My husband says the same thing. He was getting mad at me for bringing a suitcase full of work. I told him that if I didn't bring it, I wasn't coming. He said I guess you are bringing the suitcase, lol
