July Currently, Monday Made it, WINNERS, and what have I been up to

Beware...this is a LONG post...BUT, I have lots to talk about and a few things to giveaway! hehe!

My day has been very busy nonstop! Just a few pictures of what my day has been like...

1. The gym

2. 4 stores...Trader Joe's, Target, Walmart, Harris Teeter

3. Got home and started cooking! ALL of this!
(if you want any of the recipes, click on the picture)

Dinner in the CrockPot! This is delicious! I have made it twice and my hubby requested it for dinner tonight:)

Homemade Cookies and Cream Ice Cream for dessert-first time trying it but it looks so good!

Cucumber Tomato Feta Salad for Lunch

My take on a Croque Monsieurs
I finally have had a chance after eating lunch to sit.down.and.relax.for.a.few!

 Now onto the school stuff:)

Well, it is Monday, and that means...Monday Made it:) I love Tara from 4th Grade Frolics weekly craft linky! It always gives me something to look forward to! This week I took the Mystery Person idea I found from Growing Kinders and made it my own!

Each day I will pull one of the circle cards you see on the right out from a container. I will place it on here (it's just tape for now until I can get the hook at work) and at the end of the day I will reveal who the mystery person is. If that person had excellent behavior that day, they will earn a Toad Ticket-my reward system. If the mystery person doesn't behave, I will have to say, "Sorry, I can't reveal the mystery person today." What I really like about this is the fact if any kids are goofing around and such I can say, "You know, I am watching that mystery person!" I hope it works well! So I have the whole packet in my TPT and TN stores if you are interested in getting yourself a copy! Oh what the heck...first 2 people to comment with their email will get it for free:)

I can't wait to go check out all the other Monday Made it's! I need something for next week:)

Another linky I look forward to is Farley's Currentlys! I can't believe it is July already! Summer needs.to.slow.down.now!
I feel really bad that I copied her favorite book to read aloud, but Edward Tulane really and truly is my favorite read aloud...ever!

I just ordered the Common Core Curriculum Map K-5 English Language arts! It is a GREAT recourse for lesson planning! I am loving it!

Head over to see Farley at Oh' Boy 4th Grade and see what's happening in July!

Now, the WINNERS of my 200 follower giveaway are...

Kaitlyn and Laura please send me an email so I can get some information from you! Congrats to you both! I am pretty close to 300 so I have to think of something again here soon;)

Last but not least, here are some pictures of what I have been working on! I am almost done with my Super Hero and Rock star Scratch offs! They will be up in my TPT and TN stores tonight!

Then I finished yesterday my writing workshop process posters with graphic organizers! You can get them now in my TPT and TN stores!

I have a few other things I would LOVE to blog and tell you all about but I don't think I should make this any longer! HAHA! I hope you all have a fabulous Monday!

    1. Thanks:) I try and cook good meals, my hubby is really the chef in the house! I was afraid to cook for the longest time. This summer I really have taken it upon myself to try and learn to cook! I am getting better and better! I am SCARED to DEATH of knives...so it has been challenging! LOL!

I need your email btw if you want that free copy of the mystery person packet:)

  16. I love the mystery person of the day idea and your writing process posters. I tried doing something like that a couple years ago where they clipped their name next to what part of the process they were in.
