Happy Monday! My day was filled with the gym, vet appointment, doctor appointment, and a dentist appointment! It was a LONG day. Our cats have to get a lot of things done in order for them to move with us to Hawaii! Doctor appointment went ok. I am on some pain meds. She thinks right now I have tendinitis. If the pain does not stop in a week, I will need an x-ray:( It is hard for me to type one handed!
So, after the gym I stopped at Target. The dollar spot is stocking up on more teachery things...looky what I got!
I am using one of the bags for mu lunch but have no idea what to use the other 2 for. The blank books are awesome...but what to use them for? And the calendar I did not find in the dollar spot. I found that in the home section for $1.50. I plan on using it for individual reading conferences or something:)
WINNERS of my Lettuce Ask Questions and MLK unit are...
Stephanie
Mrs. Phillips
I am emailing you now!
BUT...for all of you that wanted the units...I am having them 50% off in my TN shop for tonight and tomorrow only!
And I am also giving away this new math center idea I just made!
Place numbers in the circles. Students pick two numbers to multiply together. Then they draw the array on graph paper and color in the box. I make ONE copy of this and place it on the board! I hope you can use it!
Well, that's enough for me. Have a great night!
I bought 3 of those blank books and have no idea what I will use them for either. I just couldn't pass them up! Thank you for the fun freebie too. It will come in handy for some of my higher math students. :)
ReplyDeleteHope your tendinitis gets better! It is no fun to be in pain.

Tonya--I snagged some of those blank books at Target this weekend as well! I love that dollar spot They had cute clipboards, too :)
ReplyDeleteI saw the blank books, but didn't have an idea right away so I didn't pick any up. Hopefully they figure out your wrist soon. I understand about the pain. Just got my all clear from 6 weeks post op for a second knee surgery.

I love this Let's Multiply Game but I'm not sure I exactly understand how to play. Could someone list the directions for me? Thank you soooo much!!
ReplyDeleteI picked up 11 packages of the blank books (8 in a package, 16-pages!). I am using them for my last unit in 6th grade social studies (georgia) on Latin America. We divide into 4 mini-units: geography, history, govt. and econ. I am going to use these books to summarize/draw key ideas after each lesson. It sometimes *stinks* being a middle school teacher and needing 120 of something - or none at all. And the $$$ - oh my! I still need 32 more books; hope I can find them this week!
