Post OVERLOAD...you don't want to miss this!!

I am not going to kid you when I say this post is seriously has a lot of information! It is LONG, but I promise a freebie or two! I have been working on a TON of stuff and want to share it all with you before I head back to work tomorrow! After this, I am working on sticking to ONE topic per post for the rest of the year. I have had a hard time with that!

First things first...WINNERS!

13 files for 2013 winner is
Congrats Rebbecca! I will email you today!

And my 3 winners of my new Multiplication Mania Homework Reward System are
Lisa from Live, Laugh, Love and Learn
Kaitlyn from Smiles and Sunshine
Jenn

I will email you all today!

Tomorrow and Friday my kids are doing some division review just to get their mind back into math! I created a poster project for them! I got some ideas from Pinterest off of anchor charts

Here is my division project. They will use chart paper. Each student will get one division fact. They have to follow the instructions on the paper and complete a poster.

I was planning in doing one with them first so they can see some idea of what I am looking for. If you are interested in this for free just leave a comment with your email:) I will post their finished projects when they are done with them.

Also starting next week, I will be introducing my new reading choice board. You can read about it here. We as a class are going to go over each choice so they know exactly what I want them to do.

I am having this choice board as a big grade for 3rd quarter. There are 12 activities to do and I am giving them all quarter to do them. Tomorrow I will give each student a manila folder to place their check sheet in.
They can decorate the front. Inside the manila folder will go their finished projects. This way, on March 27th, they can just hand me their manila folder to grade.

As a part of my reading centers, they are required to independent read each day. They will have to best manage their time to get this done. They are now almost 4th graders and it is time for some true independence!

I liked the idea so much, I created a listening choice board too!

Nothing fancy, but I like it! Do you? I am going to add it to my TPT store. But, the first 3 people to comment can get this for free:) Just leave your email!
Since I am letting go and giving them independence, I made them reminder cards of what they need to do! Now, everyone does their reading time different. I do a modified Daily 5. Since I laminated these cards, they can use expo markers to check off what one they did so they know not to do it again!
What do you think? Instead of me making choices for them, they get to make the choice. They have to independent read each day but also pick one other center!  I might have to make some choices though for some kids! haha!

I do not have this for sale, or to share since it is modified for my class and my teaching style. If you are interested in something like this, I may be able to make you one for free:) Just ask

I have also been working on some fact and opinion things. I have updated my key words and board game. So if you have purchased those items, please go back and download again

Here are some fact and opinion units I have completed!

They are both available in my TPT and TN stores:)

And I believe this is the last thing I have finished...haha
My I MUSTACHE you a question cards!

I plan on laminating them and hot gluing each mustache to a popsicle stick! There are before, during, and after question prompts! I also have these available in my TPT and TN stores!

Thanks for reading such a longgggg post!  I just had to get it all out there and start fresh with my next post! Back to work tomorrow I go! I am SO excited-do you hear the sarcasm? At least it is only a two day work week! I did count though...58 school days until spring break;) hehe!
